Finally!
A year ago, I never though we'd be here: post-successful kickstarter, launching the first demo of our visual novel.
Forget-me-not started as a small idea that quickly grew into a 50,000 word story about romance, memory loss, grief, and friendship.
We've poured hundreds of hours into creating the sprites, curating an original soundtrack, and diving into a setting and story that will keep readers entertained, and hopefully, immersed.
I really did pour my heart and soul into making this story a good one, and it's even named after my favorite flower.
(The two main girls names are flowers too, how about that!)
If you're interested in giving feedback, we'd love to hear it! Our team is only comprised of myself and a close friend. We've done the script, editing, sprites, and music together...so we're just two people working within our limits to give whatever we can.
Here are some changes that will be implemented either in another demo version, or the final release:
- CG's (some are still works in progress!)
- Updated and improved main menu screen
- Font changes (looking through those licenses lol!)
- Possible GUI changes such as the save screen, preferences, etc.
- and many more as we go along!
