#Weekly Update #Chapter Two
It's June, everybody! We're almost halfway through 2021, and it seems a drastic improvement over 2020. I mean... stuff still sucks for the most part, but it's not a daily dumpster fire, so... progress. Yay.
Speaking of progress, I didn't get quite as much done this week as I'd have liked (see the personal section below if you care about why). The scene currently being worked had some issues when it came to how I had to render it, which meant I had to re-write the parts that couldn't render quite the way I envisioned. That being said, all the information and choices in that scene remain the same so the "hard part" is done. It's nowhere near as complicated as "Teri's Eleven", but there's some scenery that I haven't had to work with before that's a little more of a challenge than I'd anticipated. Maybe I should set all the characters against black backgrounds...
Speaking of articles (I know we weren't, shut up), Nextgenporn.net did another article on Mythos! You should totally check that out -- it has some exclusive information about what to expect in Chapter Two.
Now the personal section -- skip to the checklist if you don't care about this stuff.
Morgana (my wife, for those who don't know) had her expensive car repair last week... then this week she calls me from her work, panicked that her car isn't starting. Naturally, a million thoughts went through my head, from "did the mechanic screw this up" to "I can't afford a new car right now". As it turns out, it was just her battery dying. When AAA (a fantastic service!) came out to replace her battery, we found out why -- the bloody thing was from 2012!!! It was a pretty cheap thing to swap out (and AAA gave us a discount for no good reason), so it seems like Morgana's car saga is hopefully complete.
There are still financial issues going on, though -- be on the lookout for an announcement about me opening up commissions soon to get some extra money to... ya know... eat.
