Thank you so much to all of you who've bought and/or downloaded Asphalt Among Ashes! I've pushed out a smol update that fixes a couple of teeny typos - Mostly capitalization errors, a sentence fragment that fell out some point during the layouting process, and a rather embarrassing moment where I seem to have forgotten whether I was using periods or colons for the ranks table. No, i'm not changing the "dice" in the instructions to "die". I'm a strict linguistic descriptivist and i write from my vernacular, and I never, ever call a single dice a "die". "Die" is either a rather morbid verb, or the term for that thingy that you use to cast die-cast metal stuff. I'm sticking to my guns on that one!
The response to AAA has been way beyond my wildest dreams, and it's made me really happy to put out something that people like. I'm kind of a serial project dropper, so actually going the whole way and bringing a project to completion has really been a big boost to my confidence. Thank all of you so much!
While I'm here, i'd really suggest y'all journalgame fans check out the game that AAA is built off of, Moons Among Us. Greys is a great person who makes good stuff, and they were the one who developed the dice-result-divisibility twist on the Along Among The Stars formula that AAA uses.
