This is part of a series of updates on my 90 Days & Ship It! Jam 2021 journey. 10 weeks left!
This week I decided to give the two player split-screen a try. It was relatively easy to create two cameras but I had to make a lot of small changes in the code (especially on the player class). Luckily, the mechanics for picking up items throughout the map worked largely out of the box with two players.

Besides coding, I watched a few GDC talks and other videos on indie game dev stories, pixel art and music composition.
