As I'm sure could be expected, today's update is all about the next path and getting the second available metal ball. This was one of my favorite puzzles I designed for Episode 2 purely because of how simple and amusing I think it is. No real hard puzzles in this section anyway, so I think it's nice to just have a bunch of silly creatures being shuffled around as you look for the right one.
Also, worked on a couple of new features that should improve the series overall. I added a difficulty level select in the main and pause menus, that will affect combat stats for enemies. Hopefully this should make the game more accessible during the tougher parts of the episode such as when the imp shows up again as well as the next boss battle. Additionally, this was not shown in the video but I also created a notification when new dialogue options are available, similar to the diary update notifications. This should hopefully help remind people who are stuck that they can ask Jyl for hints on the puzzles. I hope to implement as many quality of life fixes as I can, so please let me know if anyone has suggestions for similar small tweaks!
