#monstertanks #development
Hello and welcome to the Monster Tanks dev blog.
Monster Tanks is a shoot'em up sidescroller game pretty much to the spirt of Metal Slug without actually trying to be a clone of it. In MT, you take control of a Monster Tank (duh) and try to escape the facility with it. Different tanks, different abilities. Still there are many things in the air to be said what exactly the game will at the end of it's development.
Short answer: No
Long answer: Not at the moment. MT was born from the idea pitched for the Monster Jam hosted by the AGDG community. It came to me as something cool I'd like to play. This doesn't mean, however, that this game will be "my baby" and I will closed to feedback. I want the development process to be open. I will define certain deadlines and objectives to keep development active, but when I feel the game is ready, it will be tagged as such.
Pretty much that I will be open for comments, features and possibly a whishlist of what would you like to see in the game. I would like to develop games for a community of gamers that feel they're unheard. Of course there are limits on how far I will go because I want to finish projects and keep my sanity. I won't chain myself to MT forever. :)
Soon. For the time being I will be working mostly on assets which I feel the game is missing and where negleted during the speedy dev process. So you can expect the next release to be more aesthetic one than a functional one.
Thanks for taking the time to read this entry and I'll see you around.
Respuesta corta: No
Pronto.
