Ascendance - Devlog 2

Hey! I hope you’re well today!

What I did in the past 2 weeks:

• Implemented the static character profile with an unlockeable story summary;
• Implemented your character’s division menu;
• Implemented an “Extra” menu that will have lore and some other info;
• Now I’ll know your MC’s stature! lol
• Think I found the right color pattern to make reading more comfortable for you;
• Adjusted the colors of the blog and itch page so I can preserve our eyesight. 

I also started planning and writing what I understand as part one of Ascendance! Remember last Devlog where I said that I was leaning towards releasing the full game at once?

That won’t be happening! lol Just with the writing/planning going on for part one I can already tell I’m gonna release it in parts (the lessons we learn very early 🤣), and this part isn’t even where the branching goes wild.

So, what now? Now, I’m going to dive into the writing. Wish me luck! 💕

And with that, we’re settled that the next update is going to be the whole part one of the story (the early demo has about half of it, maybe less).
