I felt like the score system was kinda lacking and needed something to make it more impactful when you complete levels quickly and without taking damage. I decided to add bonus score based on how much health Frogault has left at the end of a planet level, and also based on how quickly the protagonist managed to defeat his enemies!
Change notes:
- Added color to health points
- New timer metric at the top left corner of the screen
- New score screen at the end of a planet which awards bonus points based on remaining health and time elapsed
- Grabbing a healing item no longer awards score
- Updated the Phaser framework to its latest version
- Text changes
- Music timing changes
- Tweaks to movement drag
- Minor fixes
