I've added a small demo ROM of the updated engine. The player and enemies can now move further. I've made a few cosmetic changes as well. Also, you can now cancel out of moving a selected unit by pressing B. This only works if the unit hasn't moved yet.
I'm still working on some other changes, so I haven't updated the project files yet. Separate battle scenes are giving me more trouble than I thought they would and enemy movement still isn't great. I had an idea for a map where the player is pursued by one overpowered enemy, but said enemy got hung up on a corner. This let the player get far enough ahead that the enemy was no longer a threat. I did some trouble shooting and figured out what the issue was, but I don't have a simple solution.
The issue with the separate battle scenes is just... I don't know where to start. Literally. I need to rework a lot of different things.
