Mitch v1.3.7 is yet another bugfix update.
The development repository is moving to SourceHut!
(you can stop reading here unless you care about software development)
I was originally hosting the app’s open source code on GitLab, because I got upset at Microsoft purchasing GitHub. But the truth is, I actually don’t really like GitLab. It’s a really heavy website that takes forever to load and the UI is very clumbersome. It’s a really powerful service, but I just never use 99% of its features.
I thought about moving away from GitLab and I had a few options:
I chose the latter option because SourceHut is really cool. It’s extremely lightweight and you don’t need an account to interact with it, you can leave comments and submit patches via email. Coincidentally, I already use email for my “automatic” bug reports, and now with SourceHut I can direct all those messages to a proper public mailing list, instead of just to my own personal address.

I will keep using the GitLab issue tracker for a while, at least until some of the actual issues are fixed (like the dreaded bug #22)
