#Gold Update #spring #alpha #v0.90 #SFX updates
This weeks patch will be more focused on balance changes and addressing the player-to-mob power spikes throughout the game. We have mainly targeted large item issues where certain items may cause the game to become unbeatable or flat out win the game for the player. This patch also introduces some new gold nerfs that previously allowed players to buy an excess amount of items. As of now, we have not yet done a thorough pass on the cost of items, the price of new knights, or the cost of resting at an inn. These issues will be addressed in patch v0.95.
Nothing too much for knights. We are mostly addressing some first week playtest issues for Aki, the Summoner Knight.

Small clarity changes along with AI fixes to her saplings.
Some of the encounter configurations have been adjusted due to some of them being incredibly difficult.

Items are an incredibly potent and ingrained mechanic. At the moment, most equipment outweigh the value of most consumables. This patch focused on basic number balancing and some new items. We will look into the gold value and gold efficiency in patch v0.95.

We have started doing some passes over tomes to have them be a reasonable purchase in towns. Tomes are meant to offer new and interesting methods of gameplay that the knights do not normally possess. We've buffed some of the power, while mitigating some of the gold costs, as well as introduced some new ones.
