New Name, New Build: Pre-Alpha Update #2!

Hey everybody, today I've got a huge update share with you about #UntitledDrivingGame! Yes, there's a fresh pre-alpha build available with all the latest handling updates, character & vehicle tricks, and a fully unlocked ROUGH preview of LATC to free roam; but there's also another big change you might've noticed. I've finally given #UntitledDrivingGame a real name:
🔳 Overview
At a high level, this update includes the following changes:
- Reworked base vehicle mechanics & feel (added traction control, added drifting, better camera, etc.)
- Added a character to the vehicle
- Added a new vehicle
- Better vehicle animations
- Lots of new tricks
- Ability to spin vehicle in 180° increments
- 8 character tricks
- 9 vehicle body part tricks
- New ways to grind including sideways and backwards
- UI/UX improvements to trick/combo feedback
- Preview of LATC fully unlocked in free roam
- ...plus many more improvements & bug fixes!

General:
- Added a new vehicle - blue 4 door sedan (model courtesy of Swiss_Fox on Sketchfab)
- Unlocked LATC free roam by default in main menu
- Music now plays in the main menu
- Updated keyboard controls
Vehicle/Gameplay:
- Added a character to the vehicle: Stigxamo
- Lots of new tricks:
- 8 character tricks
- The Captain
- Oil Check
- Yee Haw
- Hangin' Out
- The Passenger
- Hood Ornament
- Hang Gliding
- Ride Along
- 9 vehicle body part tricks
- Left doors open
- Right doors open
- Pop the hood
- Pop the trunk
- Right trunk check (trunk/right doors open)
- Left trunk check (trunk/left doors open)
- Right hood check (hood/right doors open)
- Left hood check (hood/left doors open)
- Horny
- New ways to grind
- Default grind renamed to "Axle Grind"
- Added "Right Slide Grind" and "Left Slide Grind"
- Added "Reverse Axle Grind"
- Ability to spin the vehicle around in air in 180° increments (in addition to roll)
- Player can flip & spin in air freely (without holding air roll button)
- Players can still hold air roll button to barrel roll/360° flip
- Flips/rolls are now successive and counted as double, triple, etc. instead of separate tricks
- Improved handling feel with new traction settings
- Added 'handbrake' which player can hold to drift
- Removed nose wheelie trick
- Vehicle wheels fall independently when not grounded or right side up
- Lengthen acceleration/deceleration times
- Make camera system more dynamic
- Add visual body lean/roll
- Update vehicle audio
- Updated engine audio
- Added tire chirp sound effect when taking off from a stop
- Add license plate placeholder
- Add vehicle horn
- Fixed wheelie animations
- Better wipeout detection
- Better tracking of air tricks
- Try to automatically convert successive flips/rolls into 360° flips when required
- Added some camera shake when jumping
- Add a small downforce when landing to help prevent bouncing
- Update vehicle collisions for physics objects & destructible meshes
- Vehicle is only grounded if >=3 wheels are on the ground
UI/UX:
- Added game logo splash
- Move combo score & timer above combo text
- Make combo text smaller
- Add combo text animations & color feedback for new tricks, landing combos, and failing combos
- Update game name on main menu and pause screens
- Main menu:
- Remove ability to choose vehicle & color
- Add new sedan with posed character to scene
- Odd Jobs button updated to "Intro Mission (Tutorial)"
- Display 'note' explaining limitations in free roam modes
- White sedan is locked to tutorial map with no character or vehicle body part tricks
- Blue sedan is locked to LATC with full set of tricks currently available
Maps:
- LATC (Early Preview)
- Tweak lighting and post processing
- Adjust spawn position for testing purposes
- Remove bus station mesh
- Added a small section containing a few hundred physics objects for testing
- Proving Grounds (Tutorial Map)
- Updated lighting and post processing to match LATC
- Update asphalt & parking garage materials to appear 'cleaner'
- Updated tutorial drift section to include new drift mechanic
