Hello there! It's been a while as we have been chipping away at PRESS REKORD and are now working towards the final stretch - the Gold build!
So, where are we now?
Thanks to Beta feedback and guidance from our project Supervisor, we have made many improvements... The biggest changes included:
We just did a Pre-Gold Playtest with students from our college. We were delighted to see that all our new changes above were welcomed and received very well by our playtesters. Overall, they seemed even more enthusiastic about the characters (and some related to them), they loved the Live-Stream UI Aesthetics (including new Comments Box), found the extra Dialogue moments hilarious and felt very powerful while dashing especially. They also gave us pointers on our combat feel and other small issues that we are sorting out now.
We are now going into our final week of work - we are currently adding in the Final Boss sprites, the Train sprite, Train Conductor Dialogue Sprite & a new Battery Health Pick-up Sprite. All that's left for us to do next week is to make sure our Game Options/Player Preferences Options are running smoothly and to create a Gold Trailer!
