Some polish, recommend features and additions
Additions
- Atmospheric particle effects
- Particle trails for cells
- Pause Menu, opened on escape key
- Settings menu
- Alert text, when AI cells see something they will "!"
Removed
- A test sound that played on start
- Sent the old shooting sound to the shadow realm
Improved
Rebalanced BloomAI controlled cells now avoid wallsAll guns now have firing delays so guns are not synced up
Audio
- Sounds will no longer cut off, multiple noises of the same type can play at once now
- Repeating noises like guns firing or cell destruction have slight pitch variance
- Added a new shoot and hit sound
- Cleaned the static and other weirdness out of most sound effects
- Sounds now fade over distance
- Sounds now obey a volume limit
Balance
This is a survival game right?
- Player faction health halved, it is now the same as the everything else
- Enemy bullet speed doubled from 5 to 10, it is now 66.6% of the players
- Enemy growth factor increased from 100% to 400%
Optimisation
- Reduced file size slightly
- UI elements now turn off when not in use
Bugfixes
- Cursor is now correctly centered, player controlled turrets are no longer inaccurate
- When respawning the player can no longer get permanently stuck in the side of the dish
- The dish now plays sound when its hit by bullets
