Today I spent some time thinking about the level design of the game. I am aiming at a total of six levels, and I wanted to get an idea about what level goes where. Because of this, I decided to model the Tranquil castle in it's entirety, to get a concept view of the "game world". Hopefully this will be useful when fleshing out the game map.
The castle was modeled in Blender, and I used a 3D render as base for the concept painting.

I have started on the UI, and the special attacks (think dagger/axe/etc. from Castlevania) system is done. I hope to finish the UI before the weekend, so I can focus on some level design soon.
