Dev Diary #15 - 0.1.8a (Part 1) BETA

Hey everyone,

This is an update to say that 0.1.8 (Part 1) BETA is planned to be released later today for Patrons. After I return home from my main job, I'll have it uploaded and ready to go. This update did a major overhaul on some earlier game content/mechanics (specifically money) and fixed some errors that would possibly break the game. I also added a small voyeur scene where you can peek on some of the girls bathing. I know that we already have a few voyeur scenes, but we might do a poll later to determine whether we have more voyeur scenes in the future.

Only recently did I notice that the characters with scenes in this update aren't the most popular ones, but I hope that you enjoy them nevertheless. I've been trying to spend extra time in making the scenes look good. Honestly, I'm spending DAYS working on one scene, which wasn't the case before. It's getting kind of difficult to keep a schedule, to be honest.

WARNING: As this is a BETA, I highly recommend that you don't overwrite your main save. The reason for this is because I may or may not edit some variables/code that could potentially break your game in the future.

Main Updates:

• 4 New H-Scenes
• A few short scenes that continue the main story.

Minor Updates:

• Unlock the pervert in you! Visiting the bathroom during certain times of day will result in a voyeur scene. In the future, we may have more interactions depending on the relationship of the girl. Will probably do a poll in the future to determine if this is worth my time or not.
• All girls now have a unique work/spend time scene. Useless text has also been removed to mitigate grinding.
• You are now able to view time of day and money while speaking with the girls.
• Magilou's model has been slightly adjusted.
• Fixed some small bugs throughout the playthrough.
• Income has been drastically changed.

So this is a summary to what I did with money. If you want the short version, I basically made it so that working gives you the most amount of income (with Laureate giving you the most), especially early game. Passive income was way too good, and it seemed that some people didn't even know that it existed because of the constant complaints I got about it. 

I ran through the entire game from the very beginning (took me several days, believe it or not because I didn't skip days) and fixed some things I didn't like. Early game income, specifically, was a huge hindrance. Now, it has been improved and streamlined to make the game run more smoothly.

Some other things I changed was the removal of stats (however, stats will be required for certain events but dumbed down so that they're easier to get). Luck still exists but it is now 5x easier to run into a rare event. You can now work at the Mages Guild immediately once you unlock it, and Laureate always generates the most income. Also, several of the Scarlet Contracts have been drastically reduced (along with other expenses).

There were a TON of other changes and I'm afraid that I may have broken the game somehow. Again, a friendly reminder to please use a different save and let me know if you see anything weird in-game. 

Finally, please don't forget to vote in our latest Patreon poll regarding Pregnancy Sex! This will determine whether or not I include sex with bloated-baby bellies in the future. Of course, this scene will not come around any time soon... If you care about the SL girls getting pregnant in the game, I recommend that you vote to voice your opinion!
