This build is mainly focused around adding in the new Mobile Base upgrade system.
Major Features:
- Mobile Base Upgrading! (It was technically in the last build, but it's much more stable now!) This allows you to increase the module slots/levels for your favorite/first companion.
- More modules! These include two types of batteries (increase the max power of the mobile base), two types of solar panels (increase power generation) and a energy collector (makes energy fragments for free really slowly!)
New Features:
- Stockpiles no longer drop a weird glowy crate, and instead drop items when cancelled
- The player's death chest is now replaced with a dead body
- Made the stockpile fill up as you add stuff to it
- Added a medium furnace that can cook more stuff faster
- Added two tiers of mobile bases (one was an ooolld model and is going to be the third tier once I get the second tier modelled)
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed some visuals for enemies trying to avoid the player strafing around them constantly
- Fixed some visual issues with UI not updating when respawning
- Fixed punching being super OP because it did a base 4 damage with a cooldown of 0.2/s
- Reduced the shader complexity of the protection sphere around the Mobile Base for performance
Behind the scenes:
- Not much for this patch. Just trying to get everything into a more stable state before diving back into multiplayer
