New Alpha Demo + Kickstarter Tuesday, 9AM EST!

First, the big news! We are launching our Kickstarter on Tuesday, April 13th, 9AM EST! If you can, please go to our page and click "Notify me on launch"! This improves our visibility and makes sure that you can be the first to pledge! We have three early bird tiers that will end April 15th, 9PM EST, so make sure to pledge before then to get a discount on your tier of choice.

If you haven't been following our social media pages, you might be surprised by some of the changes you see on our page. Let's break it down:

• New sprites! Unfortunately, our sprite artist stopped responding last summer. There are a lot of new characters we want to introduce to the story, so we need new sprites! These sprites are layered, allowing for more expressions than before (AND the game is about half the size as it was previously!)
• Accessibility options: We've added alt text to all of our buttons and included a short audio snippet indicating to those with vision impairment that they can use text-to-speech by pressing 'v' on their keyboard. There is now a Night Mode and a High Contrast option for different viewing preferences, several font choices, and font sizing/spacing choices. Finally, you can sent the menu to medium and large as well as the default size.
• Achievements, Music Box: and an empty gallery! These are very basic right now, but there are still several achievements for the demo, so see if you can get them all!

Trying to plan a Kickstarter, find & pay for new assets, while balancing full-time work and school in the middle of a pandemic has been... challenging, to say the least. I really want to see this game come to fruition, so if you can, please consider backing the Kickstarter!
