Roadmap for missing features and bugfixing
Hi,
so, the jam is over, and i have a game that is not too bad, but buggy. There are also some features missing. After seeing my game on twitch i decided to work a little bit more on this bug-beast.... Especially because the game slowed down while playing.
I THINK i know what happend, but i couldn't reproduce the problem yet.
So, here is my plan/roadmap to fix this. The order of execution is not yet fixed...
Bugs:
- finding and killing the slowdown-bug
- Game crashes very rarely in the release-build (and i think i no why, but not where)
- creating an upload-mechanism for debug-logs, so i can easily see what went wrong by the players (no personal data)
- fixing the pacific towers
- making the AI great again (seems like i made an error some minutes before uploading without testing)
- Target-Line is buggy as hell...
- Some visual bugs in the fog of war
- Black-Line bug
- Rewrite Unit and Building inheritance. (internal stuff...)
- etc
Features:
- Building-Queue for units
- Powerplants
- Radar-Station
- Garage (for repairing units)
- Smoother fog of war and darkness
- Better AI (complete rewrite)
- Campaign and Tutorial-Maps
- More Sound-Options
- More Skirmish-Options
- etc
