#update
Hello supporters, it's time for another Let It Train update newsletter!
March 16, 2021 - Version 22
This is the song used for the settings menu. It will be available soon in the soundtrack reward.
Finally.
It took me a while and a couple of delays, but I've finally finished the settings system. There are now 3 adjustable settings that will be saved when hitting the "save" button on the bottom-right part of the screen.
This has been widely suggested to me, even during testing. It's a lot harder than you think to get this working.
I'm not really sure if anybody will have a use for it, but it's there if you want to take the game out of fullscreen.
This is an accessibility option made specifically for people who are prone to certain patterns of light that may be present in Let It Train. Enabling photosensitivity mode will heavily decrease framerates of high-speed animations in the cockpit such as the static that shows up on the radio and the animation of the railroad.
The title screen has been almost completely reworked visually (excluding some key aspects). The main thing you might notice is that all of the buttons have been moved to be basically aligned to the left side of the screen, I think this looks much better visually than the original center alignment that was being used before. It also allows for the background to show through a little bit more.
I am currently working on making every in-game camera into a pixel-perfect camera to make the art feel a lot more consistent, especially with the text.
