Community Update
Thanks for the great feedback. It has significantly improved the gaming experience.
*some updates has been partially implement in version 5,7 and 10
Technical:
- slightly improved performance for graphically more intense areas (2-5 fps)
- fixed many holes in the ground
- fixed broken collision model for some complex objects
- some areas are brighter during the day
- disabled restoration state for specific physical objects (internal UE4 streaming issue)
- improved physical manipulation of larger physical objects
- tree collision model changed, much lower chance of getting stuck (UE4 physics issue for Capsule)
Bugs:
- fixed multiple door keys issue (no spoilers/you know where)
- fixed gimbal lock issue for binoculars after extreme view angle
- fixed throw rock locking (rare issue)
- corrected some typos
- menus are no longer loosing focus when combining keyboard and mouse input
- minor controls improvements
Changes:
- additional journal entries are provided to help the player better understand some story elements (further explanation possible if requested)
- the player can manipulate the map
- the player's weapon is automatically restored after throwing the rock
- the intensity of the flashlight can be toggled also while holding the weapon (press and hold flashlight key)
- fall damage is reduced
- jump/crouch technique is disabled (it allowed some skilled players jumping through some physical boundaries)
- balancing the game difficulty
- current goal is visible in journal
