GAME SPECS
Number of Players: 2-4
Playing time: 10-30 min.
COMPONENTS
The game has the following components:
Each card has different attributes, numbered from 2 to 12.
SET UP
START AND PLAYING ORDER
The older player is the first and takes the mini gun. After his/her turn is ended, the marker (mini pistol) passes to the next player in counterclockwise order.
GAME
Each player plays according to the game order. In his turn, he or she must announce to the opponents:
Both players will pick up a card and show on the table: the attacker first and then the defender. The chosen attribute will be compared and who has the greater value wins the bet. The defeated player card goes to the winner's hand.
For example, the player announces his chosen attribute is IQ and name his opponent. The attacker shows the card #9 (Alexei Yegorovich), while the defender loses with the card #6 (Kendall Price), because its IQ is 8. Hence, the Kendall's card goes to attacker's hand. The Alexei's card is a special one so it will be discarded from the game. We'll talk about special cards later.
In case of a tie both cards will remain on the table and the defender has the opportunity to counterattack announcing a new attribute. Both will show their cards and the bet will continue till someone wins. If in a tie the defender shows his last card, he/she'll aways win the combat.
There are some cards where the attribute is unknown, symbolized by a question mark (?). In this situation the owner's card will cast two dice (2D6) and add the result to get the attribute value. For example: Clive Olsen has unknown moral (MO). It's owner cast the dice and gets 5 and 3. So Clive's moral is 8 at that moment.
There are special situations regarding to dice rolling:
COUPLES
There are couples in the game, cards that sum their attributes when they're on the table:
If one of these cards is on the table and the complementary card is played, the attributes of both will be added to the player who completed the couple.
SPECIAL SKILLS
There are 4 red cards with special skills. Once used, they must be discarded from the game. The player must use the special skill just after the combat has ended:
END OF GAME AND WINNER
Players are eliminated when they lose their last card. The game ends when the winner gets all the cards from the opponents. The discarded cards are ignored.
