Status Update

Hello everyone,

A warm welcome to all from the Knotgames team. 

The progress on Project PLGB is going strong, and we aim to deliver a finished and polished final product.

This post will talk about our progress so far both in terms of our design and our programming. With a stellar team working on this project, we are all in a very good mindset and are pushing forward. We are 5 weeks into development and man, it's going great.

• Weeks 1-2: We created our world, lore, look and feel of the game. We decided on the low poly, pop art style and our cultural aesthetic. We finished our Game Design Document and everyone had a clear vision of the final game.
• Week 3: We had our movement system completed along with the majority of our equipment, shooting and health systems completed as well. Social media setup was also done. A lot of 2D art content was done as well.
• Week 4: We finished our ammo, inventory, loot and currency system for the game.
• Week 5: A big week for our game as it will deal with everything related to AI and networking. We already have our object pool done, and are on track to finishing our AI soon.
