Good morning, itch! it's that day we've all been waiting for - the release of demo v0.4! Lots has changed since v0.3, so let's get into it now:
- Remade all character art, and added various animations
- Facial animations
- Stripping animations
- Special card animations (blindfolded, tickled, etc.)
- Versus Mode HUD redone in the style of fighting game stamina bars
- Added new music for June's bar menu
- Animated menu icons to pulse to the beat of the music
- In-game color changes limited to background and HUD box on top of screen
- If this is still too much for you, background color change can be disabled in the settings menu
- Each character given unique stats
- Offense/Defense: increases/decreases damage dealt/received, respectively
- Special: alters effectiveness of special cards
- Passion Suit: Same as "turn-ons" from previous demo - this suit will always have a good special card
- Favorite Special: This special will appear slightly more frequently than others
- Special card changes
- Freeze removed
- Heat added (speeds up target's fuse for a limited time)
- Tickle added (randomizes target's non-Horn Chip emblems)
- Bomb fuse resets whenever special hits, except with Heat
- Stripping incorporated into all 1P modes
- Time Attack Mode: Matching a line of Horn Emblems removes an article of clothing and gives a score boost
- Puzzle Mode/Casual Mode: Hold right trigger/shift key + direction to remove an article of clothing whenever you want
- Improved opponent AI
- Hard AI is accessible by holding down trigger button/shift key while selecting AI character (name will turn red)
- Puzzle Mode added - this demo includes eight 5x5 puzzles
- 10 Horn Chips are added to the unlock bank when each puzzle is cleared for the first time
- Added tutorial to explain the mechanics of Versus Mode
- Time Attack Mode updated
- Settings streamlined to four combinations of grid size and time limit
- 25% speed bonus given if line is cleared within [grid size] seconds
- Matching Horn Chips removes an article of clothing, adding a 10% bonus on top of the speed bonus per item removed
- Control options moved to settings menu
- SFW mode (eSports mode) added to settings menu
- Disables stripping in all modes
- Alters staff's uniforms to be a bit more Twitch-friendly
- eSports mode will be offered to player before game boots up the first time
- Quit game option added to main menu
- Confirm and cancel buttons swapped for gamepad controls
- Xbox: A to confirm, B to cancel
- Playstation: X to confirm, O to cancel
- Nintendo: B to confirm, A to cancel
