Prototype Update: v0.0.7
JungA browser game made in HTML5
Another weekly update roles on through - Jung Prototype v0.0.7 is live!
Some highlight updates in this release:
- New creatures join the fray! And some existing creatures get tweaked
- Pig Grenadier - These portly pigs come armed with bombs, doing AoE damage at range.
- This creature is functionally equivalent to the old llama magician. The new llama magician is described below!
- Rabbit Rogue - Speedy hoppers that can move quickly across the battlefield, but aren't too hardy. When played directly, they come in a group of three.
- Llama Magician - The magician has handed in his magic fireballs for a new ability: summoning rabbit rogues to do his bidding! He still also attacks at range, just without AoE and packing less of a punch.
- A new battlefield background enters the mix! In addition to the Stony Savanna, we now have the Jungle River.
- A handful of art refinements and improvements
- Modals now have a transparent scrim behind them to help them stand-out.
- Several creatures have had their attack animations updated, to make them appear more dynamic and give them more oomph.
- An update icon, which stands out a bit better.
- A number of quality of life improvements
- Runs can be continued across play sessions - you no longer lose your progress on your difficulty modifier when you quit the game!
- To maintain your run, you have to quit after a win or before starting your next fight. If you leave a match in progress, that difficulty modifier will be reset back to 1!
- You can now "unselect" a card by right clicking before releasing the left click.
- Full screen resolutions should now actually work - there can still be some odd situations moving from full screen to windowed on non-standard screen resolutions, but things are now generally working as expected.
