What is this?

What is this? This is a shoddy little 2D side-scrolling game I made for a game design class. I was supposed to make something in Unity in the spirit of flappy bird, and this is what I managed with my rudimentary knowledge.  In fact, this was my first introduction to Unity ever.

I had originally wanted to give the monsters bite animations for when the fish collided with them, and I wanted the fish to change to a death animation at the same time. However, I never managed to figure out how to trigger those animations in the end. I never even got the death screen text to pop up or the restart button to work. 

All in all, Im pretty sure I totally scuffed the assignment. But I guess we all gotta start somewhere, huh?
