And here we are with the patch notes for our first update for Kiubi! After the first week of launch, we worked hard to improve the content and the performance of our game, to allow you to experience the game in a much smoother way.
First of all, we modified some graphic element to reach 60 stable fps on most PCs: you won’t have to worry about frame drops anymore.
We saw our beloved “lamps” hovering and exploring the game map themselves: this has caused a lot of laughts, but in the long run it was a frustrating experience! These have been fixed too and you won’t find them going around any longer.
While experiencing the game, we noticed that Sentinels liked detaching their head from their body… something incredibly disturbing and ugly to see. We fixed this anomaly and improved their shooting animation (that we hope you will never see, as it would mean the end for you)
Yes, we know the fleeing key has caused you a lot of pain, so we decided to ease this process a bit by slowing the key down the more you try to catch it. There is obviously a limit to this, otherwise, would it even be a challenge?
A lot of you wanted to move the gamecam around to have a better understanding and view of the game. We decided to implement this new cam and allowing you to have a 360° view. You’ll just have to keep the right mouse button pressed or LT o L2 on controllers.
We wanted the last demo level to be a bit more challenging and engaging. Maybe now it is a little more complex, but much more fun!
We thank you for your patience and sincerely hope that these updates will be appreciated by you. Remember to join our Discord server to give us your feedbacks on gameplay, music and environment!
Have fun exploring Kiubi and its new features with us: we can’t wait to hear what you think about it!
