The short version is: I haven't made any significant changes to this game, this just a visual refresh.
The longer version is that I've been fiddling around with Affinity Publisher, trying to teach myself how to use it, and this game seemed like a pretty simple, low-impact project that I could tool around with and improve. I'm not at all an expert on Publisher, but I really like how this came out, so I'm passing the newest version on to you all!
For those interested, it's a cleaner look overall. I used two new fonts: Black Chancery and Znikomit (because Affinity didn't have whatever Google Slides did... Yeah, I made this game in Slides originally.) The callouts weren't my favorite on the original, and these are closer to what I wanted them to be. I used the same images, and added a new spattering effect on some of the pages.

For those interested, I have a few other game designs in the works. Planning to do a pretty zine layout for the rules that go with my solo journaling RPG, Unstuck in Time (a game about jaunting uncontrollably through a personal timeline), and I've got another spur-of-the-moment murder mystery RPG that I'm in the process of playtesting.
