Hungry Wiggles 1.2
There you have it!
There are less features than I had planned for now, since I had to recover my project from a massive corruption issue (see previous devlog).
Here are the things I have worked on, based on your feedback:
- I have tried to remedy the "motion sickness" effect induced by the previous version by making the background less clearly detailed, and by allowing the player to see further ahead. I am planning to implement levels very soon, which I think should also help: the game will start at a slower speed. For now, I have kept my "default" speed.
- I had feedback saying that it was not very clear that hitting the rocks would hurt Wiggles, so I have added a clearer, more impactful visual effect.
- I have made a few tiny changes under the hood which might improve performance ever so slightly.
Next up, the most requested feature (and by far the most complex so far): LEVELS!
