Hi there and welcome on over,
To mark the 0.3 game update we have these juicy treats
Bug Fixes:
New Features:
Guilty admission time: I (knowingly) understimated the effect of sounds in video games. I recently picked up a pretty chill tonor mic from scamazon and for the sounds I couldn't scoop up from https://freesound.org/ for Solitary Refinement I engaged manual override. This will almost definitely sound stupid but recording those after a long morning of programming was super expressive and helped reset my one track 01010101 mind.
Personally I really like how these sounds now fit in round the slow pluck of the guitar, they definitely breath a bit more life into some of the smaller actions.
I think the most interesting change from this update is now the invested time is an exhaustable resource, smarter prioritisation is required of the player and this doubles up with the introduction of upgradable procrastonations.
I would love if someone could throw a nugget of knowledge my way on how to avoid having so many public variables of objects I pass into this here StoreItem. I know it's possible to add headers/spaces and make it look generally less unreadable but any tips on how to become less reliant on using high numbers of public vars would be interesting and useful.
Exciting futuristic things to expect from 0.4, god forbid we actually have graphical representations of the procrastonations to look forward to...
I hope anyone who tries the game out enjoys their stay, and any feedback = very kind.
Peace xox.
