Hello! I'm Thales Guimarães, video game music composer. I hope you are well in such uncertain times (hoping for a smoother 2021...)!
I composed this music pack after months of work - the entire process, including production, mixing and mastering, took around 3 months (as I also had other concurrent projects) and long hours of daily work to complete! That being said, I am very satisfied with the results and I hope you will be as well :)
The tracks are usable for a wide variety of scenarios, like romance cues, battle themes, town themes, action-packed moments and so forth.
They all loop seamlessly with simple implementation in the game engine. If you do experience any difficulties, by all means get in touch! More than happy to help. I also love talking anything game music related, so feel free to send me a hello :)
I understand how hard it can be for game devs to work on music and get consistent and good results. I am not talking about simple melodies with chords, but more like something that can actually be used for an OST.
So, I am going to start a devlog, where I will walk you through my process of composing, orchestrating and mixing music for games - in the simplest possible way! I firmly believe that you have to know orchestration to achieve great results, but I do feel that sometimes a simple approach - using the adequate instrumentation - can lead to more concise results. This is aimed for both new game music composers and game devs who would like to try their hand on composing music for their game.
Let's not make things more complicated than they already are, shall we?
I will be in touch soon!
