You can now upload levels for others to play! This represents a nearly complete loop for players. From editing to playing to sharing and back. There are an infinite amount of things to do from this point, but I'm still terribly excited about this release. From this point on, development is mainly about improvement. The basic pieces are in place. We just need more towers, skills, monsters, and tile sets. More content, that is. Then other game modes. Then the story. So much to do. So much more to come. But for now, it's share to share your levels with the world!
The next big ticket item on the list is loadouts. Letting players (and level editors) choose towers and skills before playing. Which entails making those towers and skills. Might take a couple days.
The video above is me editing, play testing, and uploading the first level to the live game server. While talking about how unbalanced the game is right now. Good times.
I hope everyone has some sort of happy moment to celebrate the end of the World's Lost Year. I'm not even going to ask you to play my game. 2020's ending is a blessing on us all. Here's to making 2021 better. Cheers.
