v1.1.2 release
MitchA downloadable app for Android
This is yet another minor update - I’m focusing on polishing things up and generally making this app “respectable”.
Mitch v1.1.2
- The Library tab now shows “In progress” games: games which are currently downloading, installing, or are ready to be installed.
- You may cancel downloads or installations from the Library tab.
- (Note: if you’re upgrading from an eariler version of Mitch, you may notice some unfinished downloads and/or installations which shouldn’t be there. Don’t worry, you can just cancel them. From this version onwards, such issues should no longer happen)
- Fix broken UI on user pages (e.g. https://terrycavanagh.itch.io)
- Add foreground service which starts when the browser shows fullscreen content. What this means is, Android should no longer abruptly kill the Mitch process while it’s running a web game and the user switches away to another app for a second.
- The UI for library and settings tabs is now freed from memory when it’s hidden from the user. This leaves more RAM for the built-in web browser.
