Hello,
Since the Sakurai was scrapped, I designed a new Hero based on the same mechanics.
Sakurai became an Ice Knight, probably with another name too.
His main attacks are short ranged, which means he needs to find the timing to stop upgrading and kill the boss with his strong attack. To help him with ranged attackers, he has 2 skills that freezes the enemies, meaning that even if you can`t kill the dagger throwing witch, you can stop her from doing so until you can positionate yourself better to shoot a strong attack.
Actually, having him throwing Ice instead of Sakura petals made the design much more complex and fulfilling. I will need some time to code every monster to be "freezable".
Still, the project is going forward, even without assets.
