VER 4.0 (Initial Release)!
A lot of time polishing features and making it feel like a real game
# Features
- Many mechanics that were not up to par have been removed. This includes, holding target mode, blocking, first person camera, and sliding.
- The mouse has been removed from the player controls. Players using mouse/keyboard will now exclusively use the keyboard.
- An interactive tutorial at the start of the game has been added to teach players the controls
- Coconuts can now be smashed for a chance at getting a health pickup.
# QOL
- The player now flashes white instead of red when taking damage to indicate your invincibility works differently
- Weapon colliders are now enabled to better sync with the animation
- Invisible walls now outline the game area to prevent players sliding and getting stuck on world geometry
- Hearts are no longer collected while you are at full health
# SFX & VFX
- Many core gameplay elements now have audio and extra visuals to really make it pop!
- A waterfall has been added that runs under the bridge
- Hitting enemies, enemies taking damage, player taking damage, smashing coconuts, the new waterfall, opening chests, picking up hearts, and looting gold now have SFX and VFX tied to them!
