Overview

This big Gameplay Update (also known as the Still Ugly Update) add a lots of new features like:

1. a player dash
2. a player melee attack
3. the ability to deflect enemies’ bullets
4. the ability to slow the time
5. in game HUB where you can choose levels (not anymore with the menus)
6. few NPCs in the HUB with which you can talk
7. some resources to collect on the different levels
8. some upgrades buyable with the collected resources in order to upgrade the player’s abilities

The controls

The gamepad controllers are fully supported in the game. The UI adapts itself to the gamepad used when it displays possible interaction with the NPCs.

The dialogues

We’ve added some NPCs in the game HUB that you can talk to. These short dialogues can give you some hints of the future story this game will tell.

What’s next ?

The next update will be called the Pretty Update and, as its name says, will aim to make this game prettier. In order to do that, we will add more sounds, make some polish on existing features ( e.g. make player and NPC look at each other when they are speaking), add new sparkles features (camera shaking, gamepad rumble) and, the most important one, use real sprite asset (by real we mean not made with MS Paint). We will be pleased to hear your feedback !
