Dec. 8th Update

Recurring Dreams Demo
A downloadable game demo for Windows, macOS, and Android

I've been hard at work at making Recurring Dreams as fun as possible.  I've recently rebalanced the difficulty a good bit, as I felt like it was too difficult for a lot of people.  I've always tested it myself, and I think I'm personally at a point where I've gotten too good at my own game to sometimes judge the difficulty. I've now set it up so there's greater rewards as you get to higher difficulties, but you can't go to those until you've proven yourself at lower one.  Speaking of rewards, I've added a new way to spend the stars you collect through the stage in the form of Thought mastering.  Now if you cast a Thought spell 20 times, it transforms into an Unconscious Thought, which is a passive ability that can be toggled on or off. You can also spend stars at the hub area's Exchange machine, which will let you buy Attributes.  I've reworked the Mastery attribute so now every Thought has substantial scaling based on Mastery.  One last thing I've added recently, which is the bulk of the file size increase, is new music for each upcoming stage that can be previewed at the Dream Portal in the hub area. I believe this will be my last major update to the demo, but will happily fix any bugs to it if I find/hear about any.  I'll be focused on creating the remaining stages from here on out.  I'm hoping to be able to finish it in about a year and even bring it to game consoles.

TL;DR If you played before and thought it was too hard, I encourage you to give it another go.  If it's still too much, send me a message, as I'm always looking at ways to make it more accessible and enjoyable.
