Version 0.5 and answering questions from survey

I finally have some updates for you. Today we've released build v0.5 of Dawn Chorus for our patrons, so the public release of the update will happen on 10.12. Inside you will find good bois, soft pats, playing around and good vibes. Also, five months after the initial release, we've reached the point of route selection!

We got some questions or just general comments through our survey, however having no contact option with the anyone sending the responses we can only answer them here.

About the werewolf - he is a werewolf, duh! Of course he's hot.

• >There are a few grammatical errors within parts of the story, but all round a good VN!
• >I love Rune and Lake equally but for different reasons, so the question about favorites was up to a coin toss. Minor feedback would be considering getting a native English speaker to glance over the script? I saw some flaws and it would be hard to put all of them here. I'd be glad to look over the script for you, but I also don't want to come across as the weird American guy who is totally unreasonable of others, I mean it is kind of shitty of me to be assuming you don't have a native English speaker, but I still wouldn't mind helping reword some things

Generally this is something that's already in the engine we're using for Dawn Chorus, and it should be working from update to update. At some point we've done something that caused the engine to not recognise the already seen lines from previous saves, but since v0.4 the functionality should work fine.

• >The black used on the character sprites seems a bit too dark in most cases.

I passed that feedback to our artist, hq. We at some point are supposed to have new sprites drawn by them, so maybe it will be changed in those.

• >Pls give me more of your music, i can't find anything like it, and i want more

Writing takes most of my time, so I unfortunately am left with little time for making music. Pretty much everything I've recorded can be found on my bandcamp. When it comes to something similar, my two inspirations I can think of are albums: Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell, and Storm Corrosion - Storm Corrosion. I recommend checking them out! (thank you by the way, that's really nice to hear ^^')

It looks like Rune and Lake are still your favourites, with Torulf and Devon not far behind. Looking at the feedback we've decided to give Mikko a redesign - we've got some pretty positive feedback about it, it got approved by patrons in a poll and his new sprite is already included in v0.5 update. We hope you will like his new fluffy form!
