One of the ideas I want for Paradrogue is for the player to have the option on playing in either arcade mode (real-time controls like the original) or turn-based mode (more rogue-like).
This is a demo of the arcade mode. The acceleration of the main character is a little brisk, but those details can be fine tuned later. Getting the right type of movement mechanic in place is more important.
