Pixel Beach was originally build in 48 hours for Node Knockout 2017. The very limited time meant we had to throw out a bunch of ideas for what the game was meant to be in order to actually finish something before the deadline. That worked out ok - we ended up winning 'most fun'.
Once the competition was over I decided to rework the game to be what was originally designed and release it as a downloadable game. The result is Pixel Beach 1.0.0!
