DVR Simulator is available for everyone!

Hi there,

That's it, DVR Simulator is released under early access on itch.io. You can download right now the demo for FREE on Windows (and soon on Oculus Quest) and/or get the full game and enjoy FPV.

About VR support

Yes it's a freestyle/racing FPV drone game that supports VR and it can be very intensive. BUT don't forget that by default the game simulates a real FPV view, that means a single image for both eyes. It's basically a big 2D screen with the content on it, it's called monoscopic (3D is stereo). Of course you can enable the stereo, but be carefull because it can make you bad, especially if you do amazing tricks.

There is a game launcher in the installation folder that allows you to start the game in the following modes:

• Flat mode
• Oculus Desktop (CV1, S, Quest + Link)
• SteamVR
• Windows MR (native, no need for SteamVR)

Early Access

The game is not yet finish, I've more features to come, especially about levels. So keep in mind that it's not a finished product, it can contains few bugs. I'll have more to announce soon.

About Input

You can use your own RC transmitter or gamepad. VR controllers are also supported but it's definitly not recommanded to use them because stick are too small and it's VERY hard to control the drone. Controllers when using SteamVR are disabled and not supported at this moment.
