Devtober 2020 is over and I think I ended up working for maybe only a third of the time. This tells me that I need to carve out more me time in my life to do coding.
I think that keeping a spreadsheet of my to do's really helped with project prioritization; that's been working for me. I think what I need to do is start taking the extra time to make debugging changes so I can test code more easily. I wasted so much time restarting until I got the right situation to test changes. What a waste of time!
Overall Devtober was a great experience. Having the outside impetus to work was helpful. Tweeting about my progress gave me a nice dopamine hit. Creating my first twitter account just for Harvestman helped me avoid getting sucked into social media too much, which is also good.
