Degraman: Act I. Vincent
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

What we’ve done:

  1. Actively finalizing sprites and even drawing a customized sprite of MC
  2. Worked with the code (inserted the written text, added logic)
  3. Finalized 3 CGs
  4. Good progress in translation

The main directions:

  • Text 100% (without changes)
  • Visual 89% (CG - 68%, BG - 99%, Sprites - 99%)
  • Code 65% (Text 100%, Logic 72%, Visual 22%)
  • Translation 62% (Initial translation 83%, proofreading 52%, final editing 50%)

We spent most of October working very hard on sprites. We've redone a lot of things and updated even more. It's impossible to overestimatethe importance of sprites, which is why we spent so much time on them.

The end of October was bitter because of the loss of our friend. We are very depressed and had a hard time completing the work plan.

Plans for November

For a <wtf>number </wtf>of personal reasons, our team will have little time to work on the novel in November. Therefore, the plans will be very modest.

  1. Finish (or almost finish) working with sprites
  2. Finalize 4 CGs (more or less)
  3. Actively work with the code (add logic, continue inserting the visual)
  4. Translate

Total, if everything works out then in we will get the following:

  • The game will be ready at 93% (+1%)
  • Text 100%
  • Visual 90% (+1%) with 100% Sprites (+1%), 70% (+2%) CGs  and BGs (99%) unchanged
  • Code 70% (+5%), visual 30% (+8%), logic 80% (+8%), text 100%
  • Translation 68% (+6%), initial translation 85% (+2%), proofing 60% (+8%), final editing 58% (+8%)
