Bugs
- Plant ripping sound now plays on unsnap instead of grab.
- It looked like the fishing hook was floating on water when you drop it in. Added a delay.
- Cursor wasn't visible on some buttons.
- Destroyed object like treestumps would return on patch after scene switch.
- Fixed a bug where decorational shop tab would not instantly show up if there are no functional items.
- There was no time in the guidebook.
- Glass material wasn't see through anymore.
- Tools store doesn't sell fishing rod. Removed it there.
- Ground near our home has been remade. We kept falling through it incidently.
- Chicken coop should be closable again.
- Tooltips shouldn't dissapear behind oceans anymore.
- Leaving decorations store spawned you in center of village.
- Climbing in trees made it possible to access locations you shouldn't be able to. Added some invisible borders.
Features
- Show minimal interface when coming close to a shop counter. Press button to speak to the NPC.
- Water tap near farmable ground is now interactable. (Still just for decoration though).
- Made tools + seed sacks in stores grabbable but not snapable.
- Added interactive tutorial for grabbing your backpack and wallet, and farming.
- Added assist markers & assist mode. A great help when you just start learning the game. Turned on by default on new game. You can disable them from settings screen.
- Added pauze menu to select button for easier (more natural) access to settings.
- Added bicycle in world map prefab.
- Added bicycle sound on choosing fast travel location.
- Made it clear where you are on the world map.
- Added Pumpkin Space Program Rocket Easter Egg.
- Added an explanation on hover of time mode selection buttons.
- Added sound to watering on the watering can.
- Added some lamps to the farm which go on automatically at night.
- Added beach and farm portals to village.
- Added buying sound to stores.
- Added the guidebook & recipe book to the backpack. It was a bit weird that you needed to search for your tutorial instead of just having it with you.
- Added sunflower to store. A new kind of plant! This one requires a sickle to cut it down!
- Added fire effect when cooking & smoke effect when burning.
- Show description on hover over item in stores.
- Added nature environment around the village.
- Added different background sound for night.
- Made village stores + house react to day & night cycle.
- Added buyable torch & flashlight.
- Ground fades to wet state now.
- Updated the outside surroundings of the House (+ upgrade)
- Future note on message board is hard to read because it's not upright.
Tasks
- Moved away from old fruit spawn system. It was super buggy. We now use default snapzones for it.
- Upgraded to VRIF 1.5.1.
