Update #1: Bug Fixes!

DoubleShake (Public Beta Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows

Just fixed a bunch of bugs and nuances! There's a couple interesting bugs related to controller input and bugs that don't happen to everyone that we'll have to workshop over time, but hopefully this fix will make the game smoother to play!

To obtain the fixes, please re-download the build.

Changelog:

  • Replaced a certain Spring Grapple that wasn't strong enough with a Jump Pad
  • Soda cans now de-spawn within a second, so you'll less likely grab a "dud" or encounter the whacky Infinite Soda Jump (may find a better solution later).
  • Loam's controls are disabled for a second upon checkpoint respawning, so you won't walk off the path for some reason (not sure why she can do that, but again, may find a better solution later).
  • Fixed up texture seams and Z-fighting -- this seems to have been fixed on my end, but I don't remember how bad it was compared to the footage of other players.
  • Loam will now snap to the center of Turn Pads when activated, preventing her from dislodging from the new path and doing funky stuff.
  • Tidied up some terrain
  • Fixed camera jittering -- apparently I only get to chose one between this working in either Play Mode OR Build Mode...
  • Some players reported graphics appearing pink (missing shaders), I made a possible fix, but can't confirm if it'll work until those same players can confirm it for me.
  • The plant on the wall shouldn't let you grapple on the other side anymore.
