#rpg #progress update
I've been able to put a fair bit of work into False Skies of late, and as such I feel it's improved a fair bit over the prior demo [which, to be fair, has improved a lot over the one before it, and so on]. I've been able to put in a bunch of new content, as well as a few quality-of-life things, and all in all I feel I have some good momentum going.
Anyway, here a list of things I've got done since the I considered the last demo feature-complete, and a list of things I want to get done before putting out the next version:
Dungeons: 3 main path ones [and 2 less involved side ones], with 1 more primary one to build out
Towns: 4 are done, and a fifth [plus a minor townlike area] are halfway there
Enemies: Over 50 new ones, a good chunk of which have designs not seen in any of the prior demos
Bosses: 5 so far, including one with the most forms I've ever included in a boss
Classes: All 8 are in [subject to change], but 3 still need their sidequests put together
New Systems: A custom save menu's been put in place, a minimap for the overworld's here now, and several other menus that existed in older versions have received tweaks of varying severity.
Other Stuff: There's a train to catch and a boat ride across a perfectly monster-free lake to take.
I'll try and have an updated version of the game out by the end of November, but no promises.
