Here are the first concepts for the players character.
This character theme has been chosen because of the association with Ninjas, and speed/mobility. The robotic aesthetics seek to enable a connection to the player character as two players controlling a robot makes more thematical sense.
The colours of the scarf and sword reflect which player is currently in control. Blue is player 1, red is player 2. The colours will switch with every player turn.
The challenge will be properly and clearly indicating which player's turn it is through strong visual clarification.
