My Journey in making This Game

Lazer Palooza
A browser game made in HTML5

All in all, I want to say I am proud of this project because of how much effort and strength it took to challenge myself in making this. I'll tell you now, making the angle movement look up and down at a specific angle took me about 12 hours! I even had to pull an all nighter just to make the mechanics of the player fully functional and smooth. I wanted to make sure the experience in playing this game was maximized the best way possible. I pushed past my limits after researching and learning the effectiveness and distinct differences between Quaternion and Euler angles.  I even learned how to make a 2D shooting game my way with a little bit of help from a couple of Youtube videos to push me in the right path. I learned how to effectively create my code and make it less complicated than it actually should be. This is my 4th game I created so far and I can proudly say I am improving over time and learning more ways to make my scripts better. I was getting a headache after trying so hard to make the script work my way, but as I calmed down and relaxed and revisited the Unity API for some helpful tips, I got ideas of how I would work out my scripts and I feel it worked out amazing. Although I didn't create the models or music, I scripted all the code from scratch and modified it somewhat to suit the needs of this game. This is only the beginning because I have a lot more to learn especially with 3D scripting, but I will continue to strive towards my goal of making Triple A games. The only thing now I need to hope for is you guys like the game!
