I finally had the chance to play a round of The Bat of Dlamocles with 4 players, and discovered that Feedback takes ages when you have to rebuild history with four players all over again because multiple people happened to roll a weather event that game. So, though it will lengthen the game some, I added a rule: only one player per Day can be hit with Feedback/be incinerated. This should hopefully help keep things moving even when you have a new character suddenly at the table, in addition to promoting building character narratives in 3- and 4-player games instead of having to reacquaint everyone with everyone else each Day. All the better for them to end up torn apart when the end inevitably comes for them. >:)
