Another week, another update.
So first off, accept this assorted lore to go along with this post. I've decided to throw in something associated more with some of the themes the setting explores at large:
Lore: Where Reality Bleeds
Lore: Flowers For Your Grave
Next up, a clothing update! As of now, writing for the first batch of clothing is done, but it remains unimplemented. Why? Well, I've just had my eyes set on other things for a moment. So first, I decided to extend the number of various stipulations that describe the character, adding in a set of "personality traits" derived from a kind of overview of the character's social skill that can be used to make additional conversation options available (or to hide them). Similarly, I've introduced a small number of conditions based on the character's magic skills:
More or less, this is because I've been working on a set of tools that make it easier to build conversation trees quickly. I might end up writing a tutorial for it. But in any case, they are available here:
Some of the conditions remain forward-implementations to be integrated later, but most of them work off the currently in-game available data.
Finally, I've set to work on the clothing implementations in various ways, as there's some new coding needed to support the items we've written up. I've also finished filling out the API documentation with the new API tokens, improved Eliza's integration with the engine and randomly decided to implement a non-colourblind option for insight icons:
